 |
Formed in 1985 by Dr. Ivan R. Misner, BNI is a professional business organisation that allows just one person from each trade or profession to join their local chapter. With over 3,700 active chapters worldwide and 72,000 members, it is the most successful business referral organisation in the world.
Belonging to BNI is like having dozens of sales people working for you. As other members of your BNI chapter go about their daily routine and interact with customers, colleagues, friends and family they take with them their knowledge of your business. When they meet someone new that could use your products or services they hand out your card and personally recommend your services.
It's as simple as that! In 2004 members of BNI passed almost 3,300,000 referrals, generating more than €1.2 billion worth of business. In the UK and Republic of Ireland there are over 540,000 referrals translating to over €240 million worth of business for their members.
Word of mouth advertising and personal referrals are the best form of promotion there is and successful businesses depend on 'word-of-mouth' marketing to grow.
Based around a system of weekly breakfast meetings BNI provides a structured, supportive, business environment in which local business people can get together to network, learn valuable new marketing skills and develop the strong personal relationships that lead to trust and the consequent generation of significant business for each other.
Would you like to increase your own business by 20%, 30%, 50% or even 100%?
